Ingredients

  • 600 g water

  • 3 teaspoons dry yeast

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 8 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 kg flour

Directions

  • Pour water or broth into a large bowl.
  • Add the yeast and sugar, and let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Add the salt and vegetable oil.
  • Gradually add the flour, kneading until the dough is smooth and no longer sticky.
  • Cover and let the dough rest for 1 hour.
  • Shape the dough into a loaf and make a few cuts on top.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon of milk with 1 tablespoon of water and brush it over the loaf.
  • Place the loaf in a cooking sleeve.
  • Let it rise for 40 minutes.
  • Bake at 180°C (355°F) for 45 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
