600 g water
3 teaspoons dry yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
8 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 kg flour
Directions
- Pour water or broth into a large bowl.
- Add the yeast and sugar, and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Add the salt and vegetable oil.
- Gradually add the flour, kneading until the dough is smooth and no longer sticky.
- Cover and let the dough rest for 1 hour.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and make a few cuts on top.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of milk with 1 tablespoon of water and brush it over the loaf.
- Place the loaf in a cooking sleeve.
- Let it rise for 40 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C (355°F) for 45 minutes.
- Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
